Iva Lee was Lisa’s beloved grandmother who was born in the South in 1915 -the restaurant was named in her honor. She came from a long line of Southern women who traditionally passed down recipes since their arrival in the United States in 1640. Wagoner’s favorite childhood memories include watching her grandmother cooking in the kitchen, and serving delicious meals for the enjoyment of family and welcomed friends. The Wagoners branched out with a successful catering business a few years after opening their restaurant.
